I was surprised how many runs aren't really named. Definitely need to start naming runs. If you've got ideas, let me know.

Three zones, plenty of lines.

Most difficult · avalanche terrain

Top Peak · North Face

The main zone off the peak is true north facing with 1,000–1,200 ft of vertical drop. Avalanches are a concern here.

  • Big Cliffs, Tanners Rock, Aarons Rock, Triple Pillow
  • New road to the top: snowmobile only, for now
More difficult

West Side & The Big Ridge

About 700 ft of vertical off the west-facing side. This year we opened up a lot more terrain, including the new expansion.

  • New Expansion zone
  • Pillow and cliff zone being cleared this season
Easiest · very low avalanche danger

Mellow Ridge

400–500 ft of vertical and the easiest zone on the property. It's where all the wood features are. Just because it's the easiest run doesn't mean it's easy.

  • 4 main runs, Road Gaps, Saw Hill, Mellow Pillow
  • Any tracked vehicle can get to the top

Down low

Cabin & Cabin Run

Home base, the wood-fired hot tub, and the run back to it.

Getting up

No lifts. Tracks only.

The way up to the top of every run is by snowmobile or a UTV with tracks. The top peak is snowmobile only for now. On Mellow Ridge any tracked vehicle can get to the top.

Private land. Real backcountry.

Moose Springs Ranch is private property and is not open to the public. There are no day tickets and no drop-ins, so please follow along online instead.

This page is for information only. The terrain is unpatrolled, uncontrolled avalanche terrain, and nothing here is an invitation to ride the property.
